Pet Portals is a free, on-line service offered to clients of the Wellington Veterinary Clinic. It is a private, interactive website linked to your pet's health care records from our clinic. It is designed to help you manage your pet's health care and learn about pet health care topics. Your Pet Portals is completely secure, so you do not need to worry about privacy. We protect your privacy and will never share your information.

What can Pet Portals do?

1. You can view your pet's records from our clinic, including your pet's reminder and medication history and products purchased.
2. You can communicate with us by email to request medication refills or food refills (to be picked up at our office). You can request an appointment on-line or you can make a boarding reservation request on-line. You can update your account and pet information and inform us of a change to your address, phone, or email address. You can also inform us if you have a new pet or if your pet is lost.
3. You can learn about various diseases and vaccinations your pet should have to prevent these diseases and why they are important for your pet's health. There are many videos you can view regarding health care issues.
4. You will receive email communications from us, such as reminders for vaccinations, testing, appointments, and medication refills. You can set up reminders to yourself for ordering medication or special diet refills. You will even receive a birthday greeting for each of your pets! You can opt out of these emails if you do not want to receive them.
5. You can customize your Pet Portals to be interactive or not. It's your Pet Portals to make it what you want it to be. You can also upload recent photographs of your pet into your photo gallery.
6. Best of all, it's a free on-line service for our clients.

How do I sign up for Pet Portals?

You must be a current client at Wellington Veterinary Clinic in order to receive a Pet Portals account and you will need an email address. From our Website, click on the Pet Portals icon and fill in the requested information. Within approximately 1-2 business days you will receive your log on and password (which you can change). You can then use Pet Portals whenever you need to.

How does Pet Portals differ from On-Line Pharmacy?

Our On-Line Pharmacy service is a different website service from Pet Portals. These are two separate services with a different logon process, user name, and password. Our On-Line Pharmacy is for you to order products on-line using a credit card for shipment to your home. Pet Portals is an educational service linked to your pet's medical file, allowing you to receive reminders and communicate with us via email for appointments or prescription refills for pick up at our office. Pet Portals does not provide for ordering or shipping products to your home. Both are free services offered to clients of the Wellington Veterinary Clinic.
